Policy School Faculty comprises of 85 full-time trained and highly qualified teachers, who have extensive teaching experience in their respective fields. The continuous in-service training, professional grooming, and thrust on innovation, results in a highly motivated teaching body.
Policy School Curriculum, activities, systems and the entire ethos of the institution is designed to make the children discover themselves and their environment through exploration and discovery. Primary Schools curriculum is contextual and flexible.
It is designed to develop the rational and analytical faculties of young children. It lays emphasis on learning by doing. Art, Music, Dance, Physical Education and Games are the medium of imparting education.
Policy School Classes I and II teaching is activity based. Stress is laid on communication skills and self expression through public speaking and drama. Thematic teaching, with one theme a month, encourages children to explore issues through multi-disciplinary activities.
Primary Schools Classes IV and V students are taught a third language and they can select one language from Sanskrit, French or German. Other subjects taught include English, Maths, Hindi, General Science and Social Studies.
Pirallel teaching attends to students who need special attention. Primary Schools also educate two visually-impaired students. A host of monthly intra-section activities result in hundred percent participation in a variety of fields. The emphasis is not on winning but on participation.
